Just a different flavor profile you can try. You don’t have to put it in, most times I do not add it. You can experiment with different flavors, for example cayenne pepper if you like spicy.

***** Yes you can use a little garlic powder for some flavor or you can omit if you don't wish to use it.

You can store it in a air tight glass jar for a few weeks, but I do believe you would finish it quickly. :)
