Hi. Thank you so much for this video. I had purchased several cans of Mackerel, but didn't know how to use them. But now I do! And tonight it's Mackeral patties, rice, with a side of green beans. :-) Healthy and cost effective! Just the way I like it. -- The reason a lot of people leave the bones in, is because of the extra calcium the bones provide. Their soooo soft, because of the canning process, that if you can squish them up, no problem, and won't even notice them in your patties when eating them. Again, thank you.

I haven't made mackerel in years and got a taste for it. I couldn't quite remember how I did them so I looked up videos and yours was the first that looked like mine. As soon as I saw your ingredients it all came back. Ours are almost exactly the same except I don't use the onion packets. I take off the skin and the bones, too. Thank you.
