I like the ingredients in both recipes, except ginger, as this spoils the taste of the whole entree ! Although I do like ginger in soups.

I hear ya Happy Gator - I feel the same way about licorice, anise and those flavors. Tastes awful to me. Jamaican foods use ginger pretty often. You’re welcome to omit it and enjoy.
