I think you guys are talking about "floss" at 17:30. The brush is indeed called a toothbrush, floss is the thread that goes in between your teeth, and then there's also 'toothpicks', which are small wooden sticks used for cleaning between teeth too.

Miley, I love travel guides by fluent native-language speakers and adventurous people. Bald and Bankrupt's channel about travel in Russia/India was my favorite youtube channel before finding your channel via Japan Explorer. I have always wanted to visit Japan ever since I was a little boy. Back then I would stay in my local university's library just to watch films about Japan's history and culture. I've watched many documentaries about Japan and I feel like your youtube channel is better in many ways because it is almost as good as being there in person and having adventures! Now that I'm in a wheelchair due to violence in my country, I think traveling to Japan would be difficult so thank you for being my eyes and feet in Japan for now! I love all the little details!

I know here in the US we speak English differently depending on the region of the US we are from. Unfortunately, you can not assume once you hear one English speaking style that we will all speak English the same way. It is best to ask someone where they are from so you can brace yourself to their speaking style and accent. It can be a slow process to speak to someone and be understood. Is it like this in Japan?

Ebisu is one of my favorite Tokyo neighborhoods, so a visit to the Yokocho was a very interesting experience. The food looked terrific, and it was SO cool to see you exchanging toasts with Australians. That seemed to be great fun. Miley, you know that Richard LOVES your great (no fat--lol) legs. Making japanese girlfriend is very hard, because they are so shy and tend to hide feelings, so she wouldn't tell directly if she likes someone. Second there is this kokuhaku culture 😅. Many of them don't speak English and if foreign man wishes to date japanese girl he should be able to speak fluent Japanese (英語は日本語ほど難しくないです ww😂) Oh, I almost forgot there is this no touching policy, that means if you wish to hug her, pet her head, or kiss her she needs to develope very deep trust in that person. This is based on my experience.

The algorithm isn't going to reward her as much if a large portion of her subscribers aren't even awake to catch the premiere. It will think people in North America aren't that interested. Since it seems she is targeting English speakers, she should post later when all of North America and Europe are available to watch the moment it goes live at reasonable viewing hours. Better for views and better chance to get the algorithm on her side to spread videos to non-subscribers.
