Thank you for the video a tip- you shouldn’t use the microwave because of the radiation removing the benifits in the products- double boiler is better if accesssble.

That white thing is the Melt and Pour Soap base … that is soap that has already been prepared … Just cut it up and melt it and add ur turmeric and fragrance (optional) and pour into molds 👍🏼

She used a soap base which means she didn’t have to use Lye nor water, the base is already prepared and ready to go. All you do is melt It down and add your additives

What kind of base did you use? When that happens, usually for me, it's the base it self. I opt to get a more moisturizing base such as shea butter, goat's milk, or maybe even a triple butter base❤️ Also be mindful of where you get your base from as well.

In this demonstration, I used the microwave for a faster melt because of time, but I do recommend using a stove top, (double boil method), it’ll melt with a slow gentle heat to prevent the base from burning.

No u cannot use Lye.. Lye is used in the CP soap making (cold process) when using Melt n Pour Soap Base the lye is already incorporated and all oils etc have already been saponified into the soap base.
