Excellent video. so exactly how much water should i add? it seems most formulas don't mention how much water so is it just an issue of mixing till it feels right? and do you ever add fiberglas? that seems like an easy way to add some crack-prevention. fiberglas is inexpensive but i wonder if there is something more eco friendly? it's just glass so in that sense it's not so toxic but not good to work with (bad for skin and lungs).

Love your videos! So inspiring Maybe a stupid question but what is a “part” measurement? And how do you know how much mix to make based on the statue that you want to make?

A part is whatever size you make it, so it can be a cup, it can be a 5 gallon bucket. It just depends on the size of the project you’re doing. So you just want to make sure you’re using equal parts when mixing, but the part can be whatever you want it to be, hope this helps!

@@marniepeters5142 Just by trial and error. I personally go by how much water I use per mold. But it also depends on how you mix your concrete. You will use less concrete mix if you use a more watery mix of concrete. If you mix a more "traditional" thickness of concrete (like for sidewalks and stuff like that) then you will use more concrete mix. So you need to figure out if you want a more watery or traditional thickness of concrete and just write down your measurements.

Thank you for the feedback, glad you enjoyed! Depending on the temperature usually a week or two, but at least a full week. The longer you wait the better the results.
