Wow" what a unique twist on an old southern classic dish. I used to love it, when my mom cooked liver & onions with gravy and she served it over rice. Been years since I've eaten any , gonna have to try it out especially with those homemade mashed potatoes . Good Afternoon Charlie!! I was thinking about both meals with Gravy and Sauteed Onions. Only difference is, l was thinking of homemade Salisbury Steak instead of Meatloaf and the Liver for another meal. Thank you for giving me this idea on combining 2 meals in one. Hey Charlie 😉 i just came to watch you put this meal together. Your sister hear can’t holler at you for this one. I don’t feel I had a proper intro to Liver honestly. My Granny 🙏🏾 probably woulda made it divine but she didn’t cook it at all but my Mom…would buy pork Liver mostly because it was cheaper but Charlie…she overcooked it. It was hard for me to eat but she threw down on it. If she didn’t make gravy, I’d drown it with Ketchup to tolerate it.

Hey there!! I find that the pork, calf and beef liver have different flavors to it. Beef liver flavor is not as strong as the calf liver. That calf liver has that strong liver flavor to it. lol Yes, liver is easy to overcook. It becomes really chewy. lol Thanks for sharing!!
