I am still at the beginning of the video, but I really wanted to say thank you for making this course free! Usually when I wanted to find this kind of video's the videos are: not informing at all, just the basic things that has already been told by 3000 other creators, you only can see 5 min and for the rest you need to pay (I'm a minor, so I can't use a credit card and my mother won't use it unless it is for important stuff), or you need to pay for a course, and they don't know what to do exactly. it is really frustrating because i really want to learn art and how to make comics. i am praying for you that you get a lot of subscribers so that not only your comic gets a lot of attention (bcs it is really good) and that your channel grows!

While making my table in google docs, I've gotten rid of the landmarks spot and replaced it with 2 others, vocabulary for in universe words or phrases, and incendiary incidents which is the point in a story that jumpstarts the plot. For example the incendiary incident in harry potter would be harry discovering his powers and receiving his Hogwarts letter. In JJK season 1 it would be when itadori meets megumi and his friends open sukunas finger, all the way up to gojo talking to itadori and explaining why he can't die yet. If you look at just about any story you'll find it, especially in action based stories.

Wow, this is great, it surpassed my expectations! Can't wait to see the next part about scripting. I work on my own story already so I'm glad to see I do it in the same way you do, by dividing all the content into volumes, arcs and chapters. But I think I neglected way too much the previous part with the table, it needs to be updated. My story is: X-Men meets Death Note 🙂 (I'm not pitching it btw, just sharing). I like how you make it clear to focus on max 2 big inspirations, not more. Sometimes it's easy to get lost in so many ideas and various inspirations, it may become too hard to see and follow what truly dominates, this issue can lead to a mess of a story.

Like you were saying, it's better to start with a goal that's achievable rather than try to tackle a huge project all at once.
