Thank you Funi, this is the real deal! It is just how my grandma and my mother made it. "Regte Mielie Pap" The South African way! Now all you need is is some Marogo, (wild spinach) to go with it, and you have a meal fit for a king.

Haqhahaha, I was having fond memories of this stuff from my childhood, so i made some and as I was eating it, I looked up how it's supposed to be done... I just poured a pile of it in about 2 inches of boiling water and stirred... seemed to work just fine. I LOVE Mielie Pap!

We whisk it while adding more maize to thicken it. It ensures zero lumps👌🏽👌🏽 then use the wooden spoon once it's too thick to whisk (Limpopo pap )
