Question - when you get Chinese food, do you eat the fortune cookies? I always do! Except when they come in the plastic individually wrapped bags - those ones are questionably stale 😅 But you know what's not stale? Fresh homemade fortune cookies straight from the oven! These guys are perfect for Chinese New Year (even though fortune cookies are not traditionally made in China but neither was I so we're just gonna ignore that fact 🙃) and will surely impress your relatives! 新年快乐! 🐓🐓🐓 P.S. It's almost 2 am here and I was about to go to bed, but when I saw this in my subscription box I had to watch it. (coincidentally I was doing some Mandarin Chinese work) IDEA: you can use these to give out names for secret santa during Christmas time. Just put names in the fortune and pass it out to the people participating.

I've watched this so many times now! We've been making it 3 times now! Very yummy and easy! Tips for other people: If making a circle don't let go of the spoon! Parchment paper sucks, I had to get a silicone one and they are so much better 🙂 I use half a table spoon and they're the perfect size and not too thick 🙂

Jondee Tenorio from what I saw, it snapped open, however you could see it was soft. I asked a question about the crunch of it also. I dint think there will be much of a noise. really looks a bit too soft. unless they was still a little warm.
