Here is the catch! 15% sales commission, vat and tax need to be deducted from it and the hours of labor to list ship and administer the cards.

Saw a video the other day where you said if someone needed help with their store that they could call you, I don't own a store or sell cards but I thought that was really awesome, especially when I know you don't have a lot of time. I wish you ever growing success my dude.

When you ask for a discount on buying cases how do you go about asking without seeming pushy? What is a good way to break the ice? I’ve been buying cases via eBay but it would cut down on my costs to remove shipping and I’m sure helping the LGC move product would benefit them as well with getting more allocation.
@rng-gamez2 жыл бұрын
You can just flat out ask, just say if I buy by the case do you guys provided any type of volume discount. I’m sure if they want to move product they will.

Do you still use this? How accurate has it been lately? CMM Draft boxes seem to have $290-$510 values on the simulator which seems a bit high to me.

Hey. Giant text incoming xD I've been thinking on what you said about buying cards for 2 years before opening the shop. What did you buy for Magic? Did you focus on draft boxes? Set boxes? Collector boxes? I live in a city where there's only 1 LGS super far away and it's kind of abandoned. I used to play Pokémon 4-5 years ago when there was a second LGS in the city, but that one closed down 2 months after I started playing because the business partners had an ugly fight. I started playing Magic 2 weeks ago, never been to an event or a store that actually had Magic stuff in stock. Every time I purchase cards, it's online. That's why I don't know what to buy if I ever consider opening a store. Also, are old draft booster boxes supposed to be opened by the LGS for singles, opened and make the individual packs available for purchase or used in draft tournaments? I assume people would enjoy participating in a retro draft booster tournament xD let's say opening a Strixhaven draft box 2-3 years from now. I know that this is a lot of text but it would be super helpful to understand what you did on those 2 years.

I would focus on buying stuff that’s not going to rotate out if you plan on opening up later on. You can also buy boxes if you get good deals online if you can get booster boxes for about 80-90 that’s a good deal. Never open any vintage products for singles that’s a good way to loose money it’s never worth it unless your a collector.
@rng-gamez2 жыл бұрын
Yes people love doing retro drafts. You could buy a little bit from every set to sit on for your future opening

It’s very hard with Pokémon to ever break even so I believe that’s why not much work goes into them.

@ricardoblikman26762 жыл бұрын
Be aware that if you look at sealed cases you can open booster boxes for certain cards and sell the sealed ones that are left this means that when you buy a box your chances of getting chase mythic's are lowered on average, just like card counting in casino's.
