You need a good mic and a place to record without echo. And you need to learn to edit the audio, so it’s doable but requires an extra skill set.

Doing your own narration would just save you about $150 but the royalties are based on the book length. Amazon is beta testing an AI voice though so soon narration might be free for everyone.

Absolutely and it's a great way to get more sales. You just need to have a translated kindle copy on Amazon KDP and then you can claim it on ACX and get it narrated.

How common is it or difficult is it in your experience to make $50 a day from an audible title being published? If you make a royalty of maybe $3 or $4 per sale you need to sell maybe 15 a day. What does it depend on? Thanks.

Very easy. Just create a 3 hour+ audiobook on something popular and have it rank for those keywords.

Great video, if the audio book includes a PDF with a sh*t load of written content to go along with the audio, do they take that into consideration when considering the pricing? Never knew they price the book themselves lol.

It used to just be based on length but now it seems to be based on the genre as well. I don't think a PDF will add anything to the price but if it helps the listener it's a great idea.

Technically yes. It's open to Canada, US, UK and Ireland but you can publish through Findaway Voices even if you live outside these countries and still get on Audible.

Amazon is coming out with this feature now through their platform but prior to this the AI voice wouldn’t have been accepted.

😮😮😮 to each his own imagine living in Africa or on the South East Asia or India with the income is low and someone offer you the opportunity to make $100 to $150 or $125 for 3 hours imagine in a country where a worker gets paid 50 cents to $1 an hour that will be a humble blessing because a person can do 10 projects at 3 hours each and earn $1,000 to $1,125 and even 1500 or more where is the postage just making $20 to $40 a week it all depends on the person the profession in geographic location but 2/3 world countries they can feed their families turn living room more comfortable life 😢😢❤❤❤
