I’m a 55 year old guy perpetually single and am discovering new, easy and tasty recipes! This video in my opinion is hands down the best instructions out there! I just made it for the 3rd time but using walnuts and as I write this it’s cooling so we shall see how it turns out! Friends get annoyed with me because I tend to be creative with recipes but this I doubt will make a difference. The smell you get from making this is one of the best things! I don’t live in a cold area so I don’t know if that effects it but the two times before the peanut brittle has come out perfectly! Thank you so very much for this video I watch it every time as I make it! I always thought peanut brittle would be much more difficult than this is! Kudos and my simping like rambling will stop now but I highly recommend this recipe and channel!

You can spray a rubber spatula with cooking spray & then smooth out the brittle, without it sticking to it. Thanks for the recipe

They helpful tip is to put on a glove and butter it or put water on it immediately after it's poured and spread it out you can also put a piece of parchment paper over it and use a roller and roll it out and it behaves very well when you do that.

Best if it's...On A LOW HUMIDITY DAY. To me it's seems like Funge and No Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies are like that also. Also if you hear up your cookie sheet in the oven for about 10 minutes at 200°. It m akes easier to speed out.

I just made a batch but after the first 2 minutes in the microwave I pulled it out to put a towel underneath it, the sugar and syrup we're already a very dark brown and it smelled burnt. So tomorrow I'm going to try it again and do in 1 minute increments

If you want something extremely delicious and I was very wary of eating it. You can dip pieces of peanut brittle into chocolate and I never thought it would be as delicious as it is! Merry Christmas and may you and your family have a happy healthy and prosperous new year. 🎄🧑🎄🙏🎄

That's a teaspoon of vanilla if using a measuring teaspoon. Oh and the baking soda is name brand all baking soda is the same. I also use two tablespoons of butter it helps it spread.

My daughter first turned me on to this and it does taste good. My question, can I use almonds or cashews instead of peanuts? For the people who are allergic to peanuts?

Love the idea of breaking it up with a knife! I hate the idea of getting fingerprints on candy I give as gifts! Also, I’ve always been taught to not get syrup or peanuts on the sides of the bowl as it will scorch and make the brittle taste funny. Interesting…

Are you aware that the Karo syrup company also makes corn syrup for private label and most every item in the grocery store does the same thing including liquor!

What is the British equivalent to the Corn syrup? I assume that’s what K Rose is. Please
@StayingKingdomMinded4 жыл бұрын
Europe countries like UK don't have this problem because they do not authorize the use of this ingredient. It is banned in the UK by a production quota. It's called glucose-fructose syrup if you want to research it. HFCS is sweeter and is far more addicting than sugar. That’s what I found online I hope that helps :)

Well those aren't planters peanuts and that is not Domino sugar it's store brand vanilla and I don't know what brand of butter is. The only thing real is the Karo syrup. And I make all of my candies for friends me and my online store with store brand Karo syrup both white and dark as well as the liquid brown sugar and the maple flavored syrup.
