Just wanted to see someone else make nunchucks I remember the first pair made I used it Red oak a kitchen knife make sure it was smooth before I proceeded with a hand 🪚 screwdriver I had a little ⛓️ . Well I was younger at time the age was around 11 or so . I worked what I had at the time fond memory . Watching you I see some mistakes I.made the result was still usable could have been better can I see the difference between nunchucks are made different people different ways . Learning is experience in life . Thumbs up 👍👍

I made some chucks last summer. I dreamed up my own way of connecting them with a length of paracord but it is a single strand rather than double like yours. I'm curious, is the double strand better? It seems it would add to the durability but does it improve handling as well? Thanks.
@SifuKuttel Жыл бұрын
I don't think there's much of a handling difference when it comes to single vs double strand, it doesn't get tangled or change the path of movement. The only difference would be the overall strength of the connection.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching this demonstration. Just found myself a solid broom stick and I’m about to rewatch the vid and make a set for myself. Whenever I’m cutting into wood I too will also use the thumb as well as using painters tape next to my cut line to prevent any chipping from occurring. Cheers..

Can apply this to make a 3 section staff?
@SifuKuttel24 күн бұрын
@@ttmm3148 yes, it would work. But for a 3 section staff, I would suggest getting shackles to connect them instead www.kungfudirect.com/accessories/metal-ring-staff-swivels.html

When drilling from the top how deep do you go... are you only going from the top to the first hole? Or all the way till both holes?

True to my word. I watched and rewatched and rewatched again. This was a great experience but much harder than it looks. How you got that cord back through the last stage is beyond me and it was bloody painful. But I’m happy I made my first set. My temporary profile pic will show you the finished product. Again, many thanks for sharing.

Your nunchucks look great!!! Excellent job!!! Also thanks for the shoutout on your note 🙏 The video looks easy because I edited out all the times it failed to work with me. It is definitely the frustrating part of the job, but it pays off once you get it through. Thanks for the update!!!

That’s very interesting. I’d like to see a photo of them if they are so good. I’m starting to make a set as of yesterday and unlike a lot of folks here on social media talk is cheap. Once my set is complete then I’ll be sharing a pic here on my profile.
