Question! Will a pollard oak tree new growth produce acorns, and if so is It immediate or in the next couple of years?

I've been wondering this too. Might take 2-5 years depending on the variety since some of them take that long to produce - or at least to have a mast year.

I planted one of these about 6 inches tall and in 5 years it's at 15 feet tall. I wouldn't be surprised if it is putting on acorns in 10 years. Growing fast.

in the past, i’ve selectively watered some Swamp Chestnuts in drought conditions, using 500-1000gallons dripped at the base of each tree. has to be of some benefit.

I’ve been putting fertilizer in a coffee can (punctured holes in can) buried about 8-10 inches deep 5-6 feet away from the root ball for about 10 years. It works. Sunlight and room to grow is common sense.

@Mr. Cool Yep. The older the tree, the deeper the can.
