Ingredients:
1/2 cup Quaker oats (rolled oats or quick oats)

2-3 garlic cloves, minced
1-inch ginger, minced (optional)
1 green chili (optional, for a bit of heat)
4 cups vegetable broth (or water)
1/4 tsp turmeric powder (optional)

1/4 tsp cumin seeds
50g tomato sauce
50g tomato paste
40g butter
two roasted slices of bread
1 tbsp olive oil (or any healthy oil)
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
2 dried black lemon
Method:
Heat butter:
In a large pot, heat 50g butter on medium heat.
Sauté Vegetables:
Add chopped onions, garlic, and ginger. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the onions turn translucent.
Add carrots, potatoes, and tomatoes. Sauté for another 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add Spices:
Add turmeric powder, black pepper, and green chili (if using). Stir well to coat the vegetables with the spices.
Add Oats:
Stir in the Quaker oats and cook for 2 minutes, allowing them to absorb some of the flavors from the spices and vegetables.
Add Broth:

Simmer:
