Overnight oatmeal recipes as you can find many channels and google, it is very healthy and great taste. But most of recipes are high calories that you should be careful when you make it. Avoid put much of chia seeds that is high calories. honey is great natural sweetness of material but it will also increase your insulin level if you put on much of it. Definitely healthy food overall just little caution if you want to lose weight.

I discovered this wonderful recipe from you over a decade ago. It truly is a life changer. I then discovered a few months ago your recipe for overnight steel cut oats. Those have been my go-to breakfast for the past 7 months. Cheap and fulfilling are two wonderful things...especially in this economy. Using 4 cups of unsweetened Almond milk and one (dry) cup of steel cut oats, cooking on the stove per your instructions, I can get six breakfasts servings. I add the usual chia seeds, Greek yogurt, and half a scoop of vanilla whey protein powder (along w/ a splash of almond milk so everything easily blends together). I then flavor each serving similar to what you show in this vid. Thank you, again, for sharing all of your recipes!! All of the ones I have tried thus far have all turned out great!!

These look great! Have a series of questions. U made a large batch right, so how long can you have this in the fridge for? Can i make a large batch and use all week or will it get too thick or soggy? If so, if I leave in fridge for several days, I assume its best to not put any toppings like fresh fruits as they may get too mushy/soggy after several days, no? If I have the base made from overnight, will it taste good adding all the topping the morning of, or it's best to let it all marinate overnight? Thanks!

Hi there! I think adding more milk would be perfect - just a splash or two until you get the consistency you desire. And yes - if you grind the chia seeds they will still work well in this recipe.
You actually get more of he essential oils and other good stuff from chia seeds when you grind or blend them. Raw they will mostly just pass through the system undigested. You can easily use water I use water instead of milk. The oats themselves give a milky flavor when soaked in water.

Funny that you”decant” them out of the lovely little jars which I would have thought would be a great way to serve them. Thank you so much for the reminder of the greatness of overnight oats!

I usually would eat them right from the jar but it was tricky to show what they looked like that way - SO - I poured them into the cups :)

Thank you! Looking forward to trying these. Any recommendations on a good protein powder to use?
@CleanandDeliciousDani11 ай бұрын
I listed a handful that I would recommend in the description box above. Ultimately I try to use brands that have short ingredient lists and avoid chemical and artificial sweeteners.

Does anyone know if you add more milk when you add a scoop of protein powder? Can’t wait to try!

I usually don't but you may have to experiment a bit to get it to the perfect texture for you!

@CleanandDeliciousDani I don't eat cow's yoghurt, could goat's kefir be used although I know it's a different texture? Thanks.

Yes! YOu may need to pull back on the milk a bit - but this should work just fine.

Danny, any recipes for weight gain please? And I don't like chewy oats, guess it'll be okay for me to try these out with quick cook oats?

Do the chia seeds dissolve on the oat mixture. I am not supposed to eat seeds, but this looks so healthy.
@CleanandDeliciousDani11 ай бұрын
They soften but they don't dissolve. You could grind them first if thats a better option for you.

For what it's worth, I make homemade coconut milk yogurt and though I have never liked yogurt before - I LOVE, LOVE this coconut milk yogurt - 15 minutes prep, put in the yogurt maker and 15 hours later - perfect yogurt that tastes amazing!
