My reaction to your finished sunset city scene is a big WOW. It is beautiful and I never imagine...I thought black ink which would have been ok. Yes I like stencils. No die cutter, etc., so I appreciate the one layer or fussy cutting.

Great video. I had forgotten about some of these techniques. I love to make one or two layer cards because they fit easily into an envelope and don't cost extra postage.

Yep ! I'm a fraidy cat when it comes to one layer. I'm a big pattern paper collector (correction: HOARDER) and I tend to stick in that mode. I have done ink blended backgrounds and embossing as background layers, but then I just ITCH to paper piece with pretty patterns somewhere. I will try to dig out my dusty stencils and go to town with ink blending again. ! Thanks for the reminders.

I like one layer cards. With the newer stamps depth can be created with color & they take so much less time & materials to create. I am trying to organize my stamps so I can easily find a design or shape I want. There are so many different size sets I am working on a way to make them all a uniform size. I prefer to use a container with a lid because my storage space is limited. I am a corner of the living room stamper. Of course when involved in a craft or large card project involves adding a card table over one chair. I am pretty well organized now except for my sheets of stamps.

I like these. I like single layer for mailing because my husband is a retired postal worker and I don't have any concerns about them jamming the sorters or requiring extra postage and special handling.

These cards are definitely not boring! So easy with only a few supplies on those days when you don't want to drag out a whole bunch of supplies but still need some creative time. Thanks for the reminder that art can be one layer. Do you have a recommendation for where I might finds some slightly naughty or, sarcastic or, a bit snarky sentiment stamps? BTW I did not the stencil material link.

have you looked at the shakyness on normal speed? I think the 500% or so you sped that up magnifies the shakyness. my desk also shakes when it's not completely pushed to the wall and or a table leg has come loose. nice cards by the way I made one layers all the times, even emptyer than yours and they are never boring
