This might sound weird and that it doesn't work but trust me it takes this dish to a whole new level! Swap out the parmesan cheese for sour cream and mayonnaise combined in a bowl and thank me later

@@jonathandoyle7510 I know right!!? I like to use 1 cup sour cream and 1 1/2 cup mayonnaise, gets the pasta so creamy and the chives in the sour cream really add a great deal of flavour to the dish, wouldn't make it any other way tbh lol!

Real italian "Fettuccine Alfredo"? In Italy, Fettuccine Alfredo don't exist! So, nothing italian in this recipe.

She’s saying that what the US has taken and called Alfredo is really pasta bianco. I’m not Italian so idk how authentic this really is but that’s what she was getting at. Not that Alfredo exists in Italy, she actually said it doesn’t
