Great idea, love to make it, although l would mix fruits with sugar and let it sit for 6 hours to relise more pectin? What do you think? 😍👍❣

Don't know what part of the South you're from but here in Georgia we don't make cobbler. I would Love tonknow which State you're from to Say it's "Southern". I've been cooking Cobblers for 60 years.

I could almost taste this cobbler as you put it together, can't wait to get more blueberries and make it. Like the addition of bourbon, sounds like a good idea, and i like that you chose to use a 'local' bourbon from a distillery in your own state. I'm late to this video and recipe, but thank you for posting it.

after 25 minutes, 45% of the alcohol will have burned off. i think it's safe to say that after 45-60 minutes, it should be fine for a child's consumption.

This recipe requires a lot of sugar in my opinion but in the end it's pretty much worth it. Looks delicious!

I was just thinking how i was gonna take the traditional peach cobbler and make it my own and then you made the exact cobbler i was thinking of the only ingredient i had in mine that you didnt add was basil or mint

@ChipotleAlpaca Yeah. I was thinking something similar. New York Corn Whiskey is more like it! But seriously, I have tried Hudson's whiskey and its pretty good stuff, just maybe not as good as Kentuckys. ;)

@whitebabyflamingo While the alcohol flavor will dissipate through cooking and the other competing flavors, they actual alcohol or ethanol, will remain in the food. It is an old wives tale that cooking food with alcohol will "burn" or "cook" off the alcohol, it may reduce it but there will always be a small percentage of alcohol that remains in the food. For kids, omit the alcohol or don't. That little of bourbon split 15-20 ways won't do anything to a child or even a baby.
