I think speaking truthfully is synonymous with speaking authentically and speaking honestly. One can't speak truthfully if one is not honest. One can't speak honestly if one is not authentic or truthful. In any case, I thank you sincerely for your excellent practical video tutorials.

I don’t think so she actually distinguished it and it actually makes sense, we can actually speak the truth and not live it ourselves
@erinsackey3 жыл бұрын
@@emmanueludofia1425 Speaking truthfully is different from 'speaking the truth.' A liar can 'speak the truth' for fear of penal consequences but is not truthful in her dealings with others.
@emmanueludofia14253 жыл бұрын
Maybe it’s high time to learn from her perspective that speaking truthfully literally means speaking the truth
@erinsackey3 жыл бұрын
As you rightly stated, that is her perspective; but that is not the universal perspective. I teach philosophy of ethics and social anthropology at the graduate level, and deal with these issues all the time. Truth, honesty, authenticity, sincerity, integrity, loyalty, etc; all these are known as sapiential or universal virtues and do not correspond to the relative perspective you're ascribing to. Perhaps, you it might benefit you to do some more reading on this, rather than just buying in into a particular perspective.

The truth is most people become defensive when they are being told the truth. You need a skill to tell the truth so it's more acceptable and less likely to trigger an heated argument. My niece just followed your advice blindly and ended with a heated argument with her mum and now refused to go home after she told her mum the truth and just be herself authentically with an attitude.

I really like the content and I use your videos to enhance confidence. I'm a teacher and I watch selected speakers to improve my language specially the flow. I saw the channel the other day and found the gravity I am searching for. One thing beyond the topic, I don't get why your background is moving slowly to and fro. Is it done on purpose to make it a bit dynamic or some other. It causes no harm it makes things natural.

@@DrGraceLee I'll send you a real cross section of what I found. May be the facets I see would be different in a way. One reason must have been, I"m a teacher of biology, I have done my masters of education and a teacher trainer. As you connect language with human brain and evolution it reflects reality. That is science. That is one part of the story. The other is your versatility, how you see the learning goes and your wonderful flow adorned with very words and ideas relevant. I'll send you the real story taking some time as I'm away from home for the time being.

How to regain trust once lost to an Exec.?
@DrGraceLee3 жыл бұрын
It starts with going back to how and why trust was lost from their perspective. Then setting the intention to achieve a common desirable outcome for the relationship. It may involve setting certain boundaries and expectations, as well as goalposts to check in for progress.
