That chorus lick is definitely the best picking exercise in all worship music. Hard as nails to play clean over and over.

It’s a fun little run! And I’ve definitely had days where I’ve nailed it and days where I fell on my face.

"If I need another key" should read "when I change the key" ;) But all kidding aside, the work you put in to make our practice easier is much appreciated.

Do you ever create isolated parts for rehearsal files? Like for EG, boost EG track and lower volume of everything else a bit so it stands out? This is what we have gotten used to having RehearsalMix through Multitracks, but trying to move away from that due to the expense and having to manage people in both PCO and a separate Multitracks account which we find annoying. Rather just create our own iso-tracks it's just so time consuming and our small church plant just doesn't really have the resources right now.

I have done that especially at request. I don't continue to do it for times sake...but it really doesn't take that long unless you're going to make a track for each of the 15 guitar and keys parts per song haha

Have you used Rehearsal Mix? Less work than making practice tracks if you have the budget for it. Thoughts???

I haven't...I need to check it out

Also, rehearsal mix has solved this issue so easily. any part in any key for no work...

You do realize you can just click on the multitrack file in the folder you purchased from multitracks and it gives you the markers already, right? :/

No I don’t know that. Teach me!!

Great Video! I think your "auto warp on long samples" is probably on. I've had the exact same problem. Preferences>Record Warp Launch> auto warp on long samples off not on. Then everything should line up. That's my guess.

nailed it...I figured it out after...I was using a different computer than normal to film the video with but working off of the same hard drive so I thought everything would be the same...but my preferences weren't set up right

Spend the extra on the WAV. The added clarity is worth it! The M4A algorithm ruins the details in the highs. I think it cuts everything above 17K. My recording professor said studies show lossy compressed audio causes fatigue because our brains have to fill in the gaps.

Hey Jimmy, what version of Ableton do you have? Intro? Standard? What version do I need for what you're doing? P.S. I appreciate your commentary on the song "God So Loved" Thanks!
@HeyWorshipLeader2 жыл бұрын
I have Standard which can be pricey...I think the limitations are the amount of tracks that you can use. But I'm pretty sure you can do what I'm doing in the video with Intro (not the free version) Also, thanks man!
