We use a similar system but use the sends to separate the different track elements. It simplifies building set-lists because all the individual tracks are already routed, just drag and drop! I would recommend giving that a try to save time building sets.

Tried downloading the Tempo project but it tells me audio files are missing? is that supposed to happen?

Same happened to me on Windows, but when I extracted INSIDE Google Drive first(using ZIP Extractor), I was then able to download the folder extracted by Google Drive as a zip and everything worked normally.

I don't understand the output setting in this template. When I connect aux to my Mac and play it in service, all the audio, including click and guides are being played to front of house.

When layering how did you get ableton not remove the existing tracks but actual layer? In the past when I tried this it replaced tracks and did not layer

15:33 delete the 1st bar of the 2nd song and then when you drag it over to connect with the 1st song you allow the 1st song to play out into the 2nd songs intro/verse

i have a question, If you're playing tracks from Ableton how do you record the session?with a different computer setup just to record?

Yes, the computer running the tracks is only for playing the tracks during a service. If we’re doing multi-track recording that happens on a different computer.

Those are more traditional DAWs unlike Ableton Live which has "live" right in the name. It's certainly not impossible to use either of those options for something like this, but they really aren't designed for that type of thing. You might find it to be less reliable than you'd hope.

When I try to overlap songs it becomes a train wreck! The first song's tracks curl up to only half their normal length, cuts appear in strange places. Any ideas or tips?

I love answering my own questions. When this happens, it's because I didn't set the rest of the tracks to warp. Missed that step for this song and it hurt.
