its great what you said about the pitch risers and even the idea of combining multiple risers, even though you noted --they can be super cheesy. honestly, I think I've been avoiding risers for this very reason, but it may actually be a reason some of my build ups fall flat. Im realizing, if I can keep a riser in, or even multiple risers but keep them low in the background, it will still hit subconsciously, and fill in that (tension) gap. thanks, always appreciate your videos, and always excited when you upload something new!

My pleasure! Glad it helped :)

Also, just curious if you ever do build ups in between sections, rather than into an official drop from a breakdown (the most extreme example), and how does your approach differ in those cases if at all?
@DowdenProductionAcademy4 ай бұрын
Not sure exactly what you mean, could you elaborate? :) I definitely do buildups in between, and I just usually have them quite a bit less intense, depending on the situation.

I didn't know that there were special build ups or lines of certain labels....in my opinion, that's wrong, because those labels didn't make artists, but vice versa. Artists are bigger than labels. Keep up the great work!
@DowdenProductionAcademy4 ай бұрын
Thanks! It's not to say these are ONLY for those labels or vice versa, it's just to let people know the type of energy/vibe I'm showing in the video. :)
