I will caution on using Black Tourmaline here because Black Tourmaline should not be submerged in water/liquids long term- it ruins the crystal. Not trying to offend anyone I do love this recipe, but I don't want anyone to lose a crystal unless they want to risk it and are ok with that. This is a reminder to always do your own research with which crystals are water safe, salt safe, and sun safe. I would use Smoky Quartz instead.

Smoky quartz is a great idea! I did check to see if black tourmaline is water safe, but perhaps the source I found meant it was safe to clean with water and not submerge? I am not sure. Do far it seems to be okay but I will keep an eye on it.

@@morganniciomhair8284 It depends on the witch and if they are an intention based practice. For me, when I work with crystals I talk to them and pour in my own energy/intention to work with the crystal's natural energy. I have had man made crystals and metal treated crystals (the Aqua aura quartz for example) work just fine. You don't have to work with uv treated or with man made crystals or with metal treated crystals if you don't want to because it's your personal practice, but I never had an issue with them in a magic or spiritual sense. Different strokes for different folks kind of thing.

Yes both have protective energies in their correspondences. Frankincense raises the vibes and sanctifies a space. Lavender clears energy especially psychic energy and brings calming and peaceful energy.
