No act of love however small, is ever wasted
So fast and delicious, I hope you'll make this your go to recipe from now on. The recipe is below:
1 very slightly mounded 1/2 cup of good mayo (I used too much in this video)
2 tsp. onion powder
1/4 cup sugar- artificial or the real thing
Mix these 3 ingredients together real well and add:
14 to 16 oz. bag of coleslaw mix and stir to combine (use a large bowl)
Let it sit 10 to 15 minutes until the coleslaw sweats down. Stir again and put in a smaller bowl. Refrigerate until serving time. Enjoy!!

Thanks for this recipe. It is delicious. I added 2 tablespoons of Heinz apple Cider vinegar and some course ground McCormick black pepper. It turned out to be the absolute best coleslaw I have ever eaten. I also chopped up one of my moms apples. She hasn't noticed yet that I took one of her apples but believe me she will be asking who stole my apple ? But then she will smile when she bites into it in my excellent slaw. Thanks again from Colorado.

My favorite Slaw Recipe is a Firecracker Slaw. I love the colors in this salad and the fact it has some different vegetables that are unexpected. The crushed red pepper flakes makes it just spicy enough. I get ask for the recipe every time that I take this salad somewhere. I found the recipe in a magazine about 20 years ago at 4th of July time but I have greatly modified this salad to make it totally my own. Dressing Zest and juice of 2 limes 1/4 cup white wine vinegar 1/2 cup vegetable oil 3 Tbsp Honey 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp black pepper 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes Salad 2 pkgs. Of slaw mix 1 seeded and chopped English cucumber 1 seeded and diced red, yellow or orange bell pepper 1/2 finely diced red onion If you like slaw you need to try this one this summer for something different. I always make this recipe when I make fish tacos.
