I made these doughnuts tonight for my children after dinner. Cheesy and meaty Spaghetti bake. Doughnuts for dessert, 8 we covered in cinnamon and sugar. The other 8 we covered them in Powder Sugar, the doughnut bits we left plain. The Kids was cheering and dancing smashing down the doughnuts. 🥰 🕺🏿💃🏿🕺🏿💃🏿💃🏿!!!

We made these when I was a kid all the time. After coming out of the oil, we'd put them in a paper lunch bag with powdered sugar, and shake them up. Would eat them while they were still warm, with milk. So good.

I made these today & they were sooooooo delious! I made the cinnamon sugar & powder one. My son & hubby loved them! I had to use the flakey Grands, & they worked! My son, 27, even helped. He is looking thru your channel, wanting me to make them. O Lord! lol Thank Mrs. Gina from our family!

I must have made hundreds of these when my boys were young! They were such a quick treat for breakfast, or when their friends were over after school. I would just fry the little holes the way they came out of the cutter. Cinnamon sugar is our favorite, too! I used the cheaper smaller diameter biscuits that come 10 in a tube , and they turned out fine. Thanks for the memories!
@lowballmama67755 жыл бұрын
I make these for my kids all the time. If you buy the small biscuits with ten in the can, they make the best pizza crust. Press all ten biscuits out and press them together to form a crust. Roll them out with a rolling pin. Put on a pizza pan and cook according to the package instructions. Take it out and spread on your pizza sauce and toppings of your choice and some pizza cheese. Put back in the oven to melt the cheese. Best pizza ever, ooh whee!

Ms' Gina , it's always a pleasure to "hear" you smile . I'm a 65 year old male and I can't tell you how much I enjoyed watching you make these donuts. Growing up in the country area of a small town in the South imbedded my love for fresh warm biscuits , loaves of bread and donuts and my Mother , Aunts and my Wife knew the way to my heart when they would leave a couple of biscuits sitting out for me during the day . I have to be careful Dear , I just might learn something .As always ... Thank You ,just for being You .

I put mine in a paper bad or a sealable container filled with cinnamon sugar then shake them several times check if not cover enough shake a little longer. When my girls were little they loved to shake the bag it made them feel so important they they would say with pride "we made doughnuts for ya mom" as they handed her a plate of doughnuts. My wife would make a big deal about them and the smiles they had were priceless.when I see Doughnuts made this way it cause me to go back over 25 years ago I can still see their smiles and the pride of helping..

We used to make these for breakfast back when I was in Girl Scouts and we were camping. We would heat our oil over the fire, fry them up and then drop them in a paper bag of cinnamon and sugar. We had a large troop in both Junior's and Cadets. We usually used 8 to 10 packages of biscuits. Luckily, they fry up fast as you said and breakfast was done quickly. Thanks for the reminder of these. I just told my son we need to run to the store for some biscuits.
