Diana I was thinking about buying some and trying it just because I am in Prepper Potpourri's Shelf Stable foods collaboration thats starting next week. Im trying to wrap my head around what recipes to make with only shelf stable foods. Im sure I will be learning from this collaboration.
@dianatennant43462 жыл бұрын
@@MennoniteFarmhouse the only shelf stable food criteria makes it hard you and I are both work used to working with both shelf stable and our garden Farm whatever for parts of the recipe. You're available pantry is quite large you have the garden you have the Frozen stuff you have the can stuff the dehydrated stuff maybe some freeze-dried stuff. Let me think just a little bit. Most of the stuff in your breads are shelf stable you could make a baguette or Italian loaf and make a big fat sandwich with some canned meat and maybe even your sloppy Joe mix I would want some cheese I know you're against the process stuff and that kind of stuff. Fruit crisps fruit crumbles pies and lots of cookies are made with mostly shelf stable items. My go-to bags for the girls are very basic tuna casserole tuna noodles canned peas canned mushroom soup (which I know you don't like but you have cream of whatever adaptations) and the good old 567 can taco soup that you just mix up and heat up with a package of taco seasoning.. made me think make a pot pie out of your vegetable soup mix or a pot pie. Or like a pot pie with biscuits on the top of it instead of being made into a pie. Hope you got some ideas. You will do well. I'm looking forward to this collab

Haha that’s right, butter, milk, cheese, milk powder, it’s sent all over the world but here we have never used buttermilk powder the dairy companies probably send it overseas too!! Ok, this is totally off subject, but I’ve been think of asking you something. Well, you mentioned that the paste tomatoes you grow are amazing (and they look like it). I’m very eagerly dying to try to grow a couple plants. So, what I’m asking is, if I send you an envelope with return postage and a return envelope would you be willing to mail a couple of those tomato seeds to me? It’s ok if not, but if you don’t feel too weird doing it, I would greatly appreciate it. God bless.
