Store some of the main yogurt before adding sugar, as your starter, I mean the 3rd batch I did, it tastes better, first and second tastes more like lemon

Greek yogurt is mostly strained to separate the whey that’s why it’s usually thicker but regular yogurt needs no straining, it’s a combo of both yogurt and whey
