Quality ingredients, simple preparation and paying attention to the details can make all the difference in a recipe. This is a winner.

Thank you! This recipe is simple and very tasty. I cooked a winter pumpkin, a lightly different version to the butternut squash, but it was amasing.

Great tip (fingertip 🙂) for a measurement reference. When cutting firewood, I cut a limb, 16" long for a measurement stick. I love these seasonal recipes. I'm cooking scallops and shrimp tonight, and this will go perfectly with it. Great job.

So I just found out that butternut squash were first cultivated not too long ago in Stow, Massachusetts. Which is right near my hometown of Leominster, birthplace of John Chapman aka Johnny Appleseed. This dish is a match made in heaven.

That would be your broiler element! Your oven should have 2. One top and one bottom. The bottom one on modern ovens is usually hidden beneath a metal panel. Unless your bottom one isn't working.

@@agmin2098 An effective teacher teaches and does not give away answers at the drop of a hat. We have been surrounded by Internet technology for the better part of...25? years now. Anyone asking how to find something without first taking advantage of the Very Basic Tools right in front of their nose warrants the odd bit of snark whether in word or emoji form. Who are these people who can't do their own legwork? Does their mom still cut up their food? At least yours was the correct response - occasionally people respond with what they *think* is the answer because those Very Basic Tools seem to have eluded them as well. 🤷🏼‍♀🤦🏼‍♀

@@agmin2098 "but I see they're your best friend", M. Pot? 🤨 I do use the shrug a lot as a kind of generic "That's it", "I don't know", "What do you think?" ,"Seems simple enough" "A few thoughts", etc., so not in a way that is intended to project snark. I don't use the facepalm nearly as much (as I want to) and more as an expression of exasperation than snark, but occasionally some snark as well. 🤷🏼‍♀

They have kinda defined what "food tv" is in the US. That trailer was cringey af 🤔 I came here prepared to disagree with you and defend them at all costs but yes. This is a terrible direction. That budget could be going to Dan or the Pangs making more vids 😭 the executive team or whatever runs them has made terrible decisions

TVs kind of like food. You have to try different things to see if it works. and if it’s not for you , then it’s not for you. It’s like putting salt and pepper on your food before you taste it .
