I buy the Reynolds’s Heavy Duty big box from Costco, it’s around $27 when I buy on sale , I date the box and it lasts me 3 plus years and I use it lots . I personally find enough difference between the regular and Heavy duty and just buy the heavy duty .

How about waxed paper? I found some in my drawer and realized that I haven't used it for a long time.Perhaps parchment took its place.

Years ago I bought a set of “WrapMaster”. Containers that hold, and cleanly cut Plastic wrap, aluminum foil, and waxed paper. Gone are the mangled boxes and stuck ends of the product and sharp cutters! You should rate these devices. Game changer.

My California Olive Ranch harvest date is 2023 - I bought it a month or two ago and I live in Southern California (south OC). My guess is that since California Olive Ranch can be pricy, stores might have a good deal of old stock on the shelves, which is why they couldn’t find newer bottles…just a guess. California Olive Ranch also has a few different flavors (medium, bold, 100% Californian, blended) - so I also think that plays into different review scores from different outlets.

Do you guys think the texture of mushrooms change when they’re par boiled in water? There was an Adam Ragusea video where he claimed shrooms become “rubbery”.

Surprised and super happy to see Costco considered - ik youve been avoidant of it because of its premium paywall status, but Kirkland brand need to stand the ATK tests! Peanut butter next :)

Fake. If anyone actually used cooking with foil, heavy duty foil is far far superior in most situations (bbq, pouches, protective layer, anything with liquids, high heat for extended time). Thin foil is serviceable, and can save a little money... but heavy duty foil is almost always better. This is a fail, foil dunce caps appropriate.

I always cut the top of the rind and sometimes I'll even take off as much rind as i can on the sides and bottom. Love brie... can't stand the rind.

I like it that you cut the amount of molasses way down. And I prefer your method to the last method I saw, which involved placing the pot in a large hole in the ground, putting a rock on the lid and surrounding the pot (top included) with coals. That video didn't cover how to get the pot, rock and lid back out of the hole while coping with the hot coals and ashes.

He's preparing it western style. The way I remember it is, you just chop onions roughly... Like quarter it. Chop all veggies roughly. You don't need to finely chop anything in most Filipino dishes.. esp sinigang. He made it more complicated than it needed to be😅
