Not to sound a party pooper. But you could have made the original panjabi recipe with this one. Panjabi recipe has boiled partially mashed, chopped onions(a must), very fine diced ginger, diced green chillies, chopped cilantro leaves, salt, red chilli powder, black pepper and coriander powder.

A technique that requires a knife with no bolster doesn't make it easier. It makes it more restricted.

In the Netherlands we love the white asparagus as seasonal vegetable in May and June. I learned to select the biggest widest ones, because they are the juiciest and have relatively little loss from peeling. We boil or steam them, serve with potatoes and ham (á la Flamande) or salmon, and Hollandaise sauce. Season with salt, pepper and optionally nutmeg.

S'been years since I blew up a potato. Can't recall details, but remember not wanting to do another oven clean-up. Thanks for the "recipe." I'll try to salt water soak, and in the future I'll check the internal temp.

Not buying it !!! It’s a Punjabi dish … like I am living in Denver and start hitting on Mexican food export … or i am a master of American cuisine… !!! You know my favorite food is and was when late G.Ma used to cook gombo soup… Next time I will tell you the history of that ….

WTF, prathas which are made and enjoyed throughout India they are trying to portray it as only from Punjab. This soft influence needs to be stopped. More than it is a Punjab dish it is a Indian dish.

Why spend the money to buy extra large shrimp when you are just going to cut them in half? Save $$, buy smaller ones.

Lol pressing a sandwich for an hour... Who has time for that? I want my sammich now! Plus, the bread will get all soggy by then as it did with that one. The avocado kimchi sandwich is something I already make often with fried eggs instead, and I would suggest the addition of sriracha.
