I love this recipe and have made it several times.. I have tried other fragrance oils and color combinations, usually successfully, but am having some problems with the mica falling out. I've tried blending longer and it doesn't always seem to help. Is there a temp that mica should be added to form a better suspension? Do you blend at a high speed or lower one? Sometimes even if I don't get good color the color falls to the bottom. Any ideas?

I would love to purchase more products from Brambleberry. However, even without this virus thing, it literally can take three weeks to get my order to Kentucky. If I didn't have to wait so long for shipping (which of course, given current events, is taking longer than the usual time anyway.) I won't see my order for over a month. The products are quality, but I don't have time to wait three weeks for an order, which is why I have to get things elsewhere. I seriously have to make a dedicated "brambleberry supply list" and put that in, knowing it can take a month to get to me sometimes. I really wish this would be addressed.
@marie03834 жыл бұрын
I agree! I live in Oklahoma and the products and pricing are great, but so NOT worth the wait to get them. Even during this time other suppliers are still getting their products to me at a decent time.
@SunshinePearl4 жыл бұрын
So true! What other suppliers do you use? I use Elements Bath and Body. They ship super quickly! But they don't have everything I need and can be a little pricey in some products.

The wait is not worth the price. Just shipping is $15. It's ridiculous.

I’m five hours south of BrambleBerry and it’s taking three weeks. I am very fortunate that Costco is 2 miles away for Olive, Coconut and Avocado Oil, and I just found a local supplier about an hour away for all the rest of by base ingredients except for Sodium Lactate. I also shop at Elements Bath and Body, Rustic Escentuals and BeScented.

Question about the preservative: How long would the shelf life be for this body cream without the preservative? I'm considering making a small batch just for myself (not selling or giving to anyone) so if I use it pretty quickly, I wonder if I can get away with not using it. At my own risk, of course.
