I love the way you utulize scult mask feature. On seeing thumbnail, first thing came into my mind is Tissue addon which we use for such parametric forms but your method is unique. However, i will try with tissue as well and share with you.

I can't seem to get the inflate to work like you do? When i use inflate I can't get it to work unless I brush over areas and then it comes up un evenly. I noticed you when you did it you did not click on the object itself and had arrows to drag left and right

yes becuse I use mesh filter brush with setings inflate

At 4:07, how do you change the form of the selection from circle to a straight line? I hear press the "2" button but that doesn't work. What are the names of those things in the Blender terminology? Maybe I will be able to find it out myself if I have the names.

yea 2 on numeric buttons above letters on keybord not numeric side on right just above letters

After some researches it seems that this grey area is about masks and Shift-A is the "Expand Mask By Topology" function. The masks will decrease the effect of the Brush/Mesh filter. You can also find this mask function in the Mask menu on the top of the window.

mesh filter works on whole topology or on facesets.. so how is expanding ? @@plume642

@@WWS3D Mesh filter is what you have used. We see "Filter type: inflate". That's a Mesh filter of type "Inflate", it's below the brushes in the left panel. Maybe you can compare with the Inflate Brush to see the difference. Not sure to get your question, though.

The only issue i have with this method is in my case the mask is jagged/serrated on the edges... And i dont know how to fix it

mask will always will be jagged in this method. If you will have more topology then less jagged will be
