Perfect timing! A friend just became grandmother to triplets. I plan to make blanks, place 3 adorable chubby hands in white glue and make one handprint per child. Ink the clay, add their names to the back and the year = divine holiday (and year round), decorations'. That could easily become a family tradition. Love it! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!! (I was thinking about buying kits to make their handprints but this is so much more personal -.and certainly more affordable. Especially for triplets, year after year after year.)

My grandchildren will be here in three weeks and I can't wait to do this technique with them! I'll cure several various size blanks for them to choose from and let them create their own design. They LOVE messy so this craft will be perfect. Thank you, Val (Pam) for providing me a fun and doable craft with my group of seven. No doubt, the parents will want to get creative, too! Happy Hopper!

Haha! The next person who calls me Pam gets banned! That is SUCH a great plan though! Please show me pictures of what they make! xxx

I just love all your wonderful tutorials! You should be very happy, teaching such lovely polymer clay techniques to people like me who are relatively new to polymer clay jewelry making! I say bravo, bravo, bravo for you!!! You deserve alot more credit than you give yourself!! You made everything so simple and easy to understand! I am a senior who is learning to make jewelry as gifts for others, just to brighten some people's day! I already had an interest in batik on fabric, and batik techniques on Ukrainian Easter Eggs called "Pysanky"', so I am just loving that it can work on polymer clay!! O happy day when I turn to You Tube and learn new-to-me handicrafts! Thank you so very much for taking your time, your experience, and your finances to teach these kinds of tutorials on You Tube! You are such a lovely person to listen to! I hope that you and your family will have a very beautiful Spring and Summer 2023 !!! I also wish you good health and much happiness! Sincerely, Laurie from Daffodil Golden Trumpets Ministry 🤩💓🦋🌲🌟🌞🏆🎺🎺🍀🍁🌈

Yes was a bit scared to use my Elmer's as that is NOT cheap over here, lol .I use it for fused glass so buy it from my glass supplier I could probably buy it cheaper .

Great Video! It would be good to use a stencil as well to apply the glue (I think it needs to be something like a plastic craft or cake stencil though, rather than a silk screen, which I think would get clogged up with the glue)

I am a beginner at polymer clay so I absolutely love your tutorials and other fun videos. This is such a fun and inexpensive technique!! Since your black lines turned out quite thin, could you have used a paintbrush and dabbed the ink between the glue instead of spreading the ink all over? Thank you.

great video,i do have a quick question: would this work with hot glue?
@UnrulyHousewife8 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I haven't tried but I wouldn't be too keen to. Polymer clay bakes at a low temperature and makes a horrid stinky gas if it burns... It might work with hot glue but if you try, do it in a very ventilated place. xx
@7caa78 жыл бұрын
i meant hot silicone glue... the one you use in glue guns... does that burn the clay?

Hey great tutorial, can you please add an subtitles option in your videos please? So it’s easy to follow without sound and for those that may find it had to understand you (such as different languages or not good hearing etc.)
@UnrulyHousewife6 жыл бұрын
I think KZbin supplies subtitles (CC) but they are often very weird and wrong. I have subtitled some of mine but it is a huge amount of work, so not all are done that way. xx
