Looks good. Small tip garlic has a higher sugar content so burns faster than onions. Cook the onions first to get it almost see through then add the garlic.

Good recipe. I add 1 lime cut into slices the smoked herring while it is boiling. I add the tomatoes after sauteing the onion-garlic so it could get soft, then I add in the flaked smoked herring.

Hi hi always nice recipes I usually cook the onions first and then my other seasonings add my tomatoes so I don't have to add water let it cook then add my smoke herring and my husband likes a little ketchup to the end

Girl how can you saute onion, pepper, garlic, and smoke Herrin In a dry pot. You need a little oil, especially olive oil for this particular dish. ( Also use some Ajax and dish washing soap to clean the inside of your pot).

Omar Atk no soaking before... these days the smoked herring and Saltfish I get don’t require much boiling time at all... I remember back in the day it took a whileeeee to boil... now sometimes it’s ready in 5 mins

Imeh Smith bake is like a fried bread or similar to pita bread. The green thing is called racao in the US, well as far from what I have seen in Key Foods or the Korean stores

That’s what we call chadon beni in Trinidad. In other countries it’s referred to as culantro... different from cilantro

Believe it or not I'm making smoke herring right now for my daughter. My first time ever. I dont eat it and neither doesn't other daughter. I am making pumpkin for me and salt fish for her.
