Hi lovelys, I just realized that I have almost no donut recipes and well, I had to do something about that. So today is the first new recipe for donuts, but there will be more coming soon, stay tuned. Todays recipe is for soft and fluffy oven baked lemon and blueberry donuts, they are amazingly soft and the blueberries give them great flavor and juiciness, and the subtle lemon taste brings these donuts to a whole new level. Since these are oven baked donuts and not fried donuts, you don´t even need to feel guilty when you won´t be able to stop at just one 😊 All my donut recipes so far have been for oven baked donuts and I love how beautiful they come out with the Wilton donut tray (see details below for the one I use). I just made these and they taste amazing!! Dont expect them to be like donuts, they are more cakey. Also push the blueberry in deep because I didnt push some of them enough and they burst out the top.

I note that everybody who comments here hasn't actually tried the recipe. I did. I've been cooking for over 30 years. It was a failure. Tough and rubbery and flavourless.

I have made them many times myself and had countless people eating them with everyone loving them. They are not like fried donuts, that's true, because they are cake batter donuts. But they are not rubbery and definitely not flavourless. Not sure what went wrong on your side..

Hi Anastasiia, yes, you can, just don't use too many for each donut if the cherries are big.
