I made these this morning and they were fantastic! I made a trip to Williams Sonoma for donut pans, 6 inch cake pans to make the mint chocolate cake and grabbed a copy of your cookbook! BTW, 2 women saw I had the book and went to grab copies for themselves. Great channel, recipes always turn out as expected. Huge fan, so happy you chose this path, blessings to you and your beautiful family❤

I didn't have the doughnut pan, and because the moment I saw this I had to immediately do it so I used a cupcake pan instead and they turned out delicious! Quick and easy. Thank you for this recipe ❤ Now I have to go and buy the doughnut pan

I don’t know if it was the chocolate I used but the chocolate glaze were too bitter for me. I remade them with different chocolate and the donuts were amazing! You have improved my baking so much, thank you 😊

Woke up saw you posted and knew I had to kick back to enjoy this video and Omg John you’ve done it once again. I’m going to make these for my sister she goes nuts for double chocolate donuts. 10:04 I was out of Coco powder as well 😂. I had to replace it with caster powder, after final mixing, it needed few spoons of milk and was quite OK 👍. My son commented it was even better than ready made fried one , fluffy and the glaze was quite absorbed into it. I have exactly the Teflon pans you are using, the amount made 2 pans , I kinda overfilling it to get better round shape of the donut.
