To be fair this is one of my favourite desserts. So soft and fluffy, with some butterscotch sauce, this sticky date pudding is to die for!
Ingredients:
250 g pitted dates (roughly chopped)
1 1/4 cups of water
1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 cups of brown sugar
60 g of softened butter
2 eggs
1 cup plain flour
2.5 tsp of baking powder
Bake at 180C for 45-50 mins
BUTTERSCOTCH SAUCE - VIDEO IS COMING!!!!
1 cup of brown sugar
250 ml cream
1 tsp of vanilla essence
Combine all ingredients into a small pots and heat over a medium heat until boiling.
Let simmer until it thickens slightly.
