Thank you soooooo much for this video. I bought the wrong yarn (I’ve only been crocheting for a short time) for a project and thought I was going to be stuck with it as I wouldn’t use the colour on anything else. Away to restart using this method 🥳

You just saved me so much time from having to wind yarn into separate cakes then rewind into 1 cake. My goodness. So simple yet so brilliant.

I knew about the Navaho Technique and use it often. I have seen the joining before, but I appreciate how carefully you taught it, so I think I can do it, too! *Thanks!*

Brilliant. Thanks! Ps. Wherever you live sounds like when my hubby and I were first married; living under the flight path in Seattle. Kind of made me feel nostalgic, hearing that plane. 🙂

I really like being able to make a bulky yarn like this. Thank you so much fun showing this method. I must say that I am very leary of knots though. I have had too many come undone when washing a project. I use a Russian Join instead.

Thank you so very much! You explained this in a way that I finally got it!!! I’ve seen numerous videos trying to explain that technique. I never quite got it! You are amazing🤗

I know this video is old but I am eternally grateful to you for this. Bulky yarn doesn't have as many colors as I would like so this is amazing. Thank you so much

Both excellent techniques! Thank you for sharing them. I believe I've seen the attaching of two yarns when you run out, but never in this form. And the tripling of the yarn is awesome.

Yup, I do use both those techniques, especially the plying. I learned it years ago as "Navajo plying", borrowed from Native American weavers. Thank you for teaching the new generations of crocheters this valuable technique!

I like this one I also yarn the yarn together that way too. Now show me how to avoid increasing the side rows using stitch markers because they tell me it is hiding and I never can find it. There has to be an easier way to keep my sides straight without being called Dunn This was really neat. Three strands together is a waste you always drop one thank you so much
