I have just started my obsession with perfecting bread making in my air fryer for when I go camping this summer ❤ this was super helpful! A great reminder that all you need is some patience and creativity to make homemade food-you don’t need all the expensive tools.

Tip: for a lighter and airy loaf you may consider 4 rounds stretch &fold during bulk fermentation.

I did wonder whether it needed salt 😆. I have a sour dough standard recipe I use, but I might try this one. I don’t have an air fryer, but cook mine in a camp oven in my oven. I add minced garlic and rosemary to my sour dough and it makes a delicious garlic bread - particularly good toasted with butter 😋

Yes! We’ve cooked it in the camp oven as well - comes out a treat 😁👌🏼

What size is your Air Fryer??? Mine dough was way too wet. I added a bunch more flour to give it some structure. Then it was too much dough for my air fryer pot. In the end it turned out ok. Going to have to fiddle with the measurements and cook time for my air fryer. Thanks for the video.

I have the Phillips XXL. Today I’m making one and used 120g starter, 400g flour and I think 230ml water - it’s rising in the fridge 😁

What size air fryer are you using please?

Not sure if it's me but how do you make the starter?
@AussieDestinationsUnknown2 жыл бұрын
You have to get it from someone 😁

It's pretty easy to make yourself with flour & water. There are tones of KZbin videos on the process. Check out Farmhouse on Boone. She's great & very knowledgeable about everything Sourdough.

Hello from Ecuador, not new about baking bread(my first sourdough starter was built in 2007), but I am a beginner in terms of using air fryer: at what temp did you preheat your air fryer and for how long please?

What if you don’t have a thermi ?
@AussieDestinationsUnknown2 жыл бұрын
You can ‘pinch and pull’ the traditional way 👍🏼
