For us, the big fryers are usually cod and haddock, but I'm certainly not against some tilapia! This looks amazing Tanny. It's interesting how universal mustard is as a rock solid binding agent. I love the idea of the finishing salt, but I don't want to give any secrets away, hahaha! That tartar sauce looks so tasty as well! Very nicely done Tanny! Great recipe!

I really like Cod, but never had fresh Haddock. I probably had some in the fish sticks I used to eat when I was younger, so I know I will love i fresh :-)

Looks delicious. I don't have catfish often, but it is my favorite. However, I am a little bit concerned about 'farmed catfish'. My state has no regulations on farming practices so it's a crap shoot. I just pray, Lawwwwd...just don't this stuff kill me. LoL.

I have the same prayer :-) But I do buy my Catfish (and Salmon) from Sam's, Whole Foods, and or Publix which all provide good information about the farm raised seafood they sell and so I trust them. Publix grocery store even buys their fish fresh, never frozen which I also like

your fish look great. My did NOT turn out very good. But I think it was the fish. We bought frozen catfish pieces'. It's real catfish raw, but it had like dark sort of coloring on 'em. I don't know my wife and I threw the fish on our plates away, grabbed the fries threw in some popcorn and called it a night.
