You did a really good job as a first time maker of paratha roti. The iron griddle is called a tawa. In Trinidad, we clap up the roti and this method is called buss up shot. Hats off to you!

For me, most times at work, start to watch , then break over. Cut the video, to watch later. But forget , and then me nuh remember till sometimes days. @@valskitchenjamaicanstyle973 Ms Val instead of folding the dough and going back to roll it again no need for that just cut the dough into small pieces make out one piece oil it put another piece of dough on top of it make sure you oil them together then you use your hand to make it around it get bigger while doing that use the rolling pin on surface take it up clap it out that's the trick it gets round and thin put it on Tawa to bake turn and oil when finish open Roti into 2 and fold each into 4 quarters and that's it perfect oil Roti
