Needed this. As an autistic person with ADHD and Dyslexia and from a poor family with no money to get me the treatment I needed, I always thought there was no point in trying. If i wanted help and treatment for my disabilities I'd have to work for it, but i couldn't work for it bc my disabilities got in the way. What people were doing at 18 I'm only getting around to do now at 25. The feeling of always being behind and never being able to catch up is overwhelming. But your words really spoke to me. Motivational videos never consider things like disabilities and other unavoidable set backs but due to your personal experience you did. This was the only video that truly got through me. Thank you.

I've had migraines in the past. They are absolutely crippling. Last time I had one was in 2019, the day after my birthday. I had to be hospitalized to rule out a stroke because I couldn't form sentences and I almost totally lost vision in my left eye. NEVER tell people they're just headaches. They're so much worse. They are all-consuming.

Amy, I can't make you understand how much this video helped me. It brought me in tears several times listening to you. I have congenital scoliosis. The amount of heavy physical pain and depression it gives me all time, is something I can never explain to anyone who haven't got this disability. But the 'unfair' life never lets me rest or have an excuse for that. Right at this moment I have severe pain in different limbs of my body but here I am, studying for an upcoming huge exam. Many times I've thought that what's the point in even trying but then I remember, god has given me a loving family and even if my body is suffering, at least I don't have any parts missing of it and even can work towards my future... life, actually. Your words made me feel better and think differently. Thank you. Edit: aaa I just edited some grammatical mistakes and now the sweet heart reaction is gone :(

I've been advised to have an gratitude journal many times. but i never really paid any importance to it because i considered myself to be enough grateful and appreciative and well i was in fact but now that after seeing this video i put some thoughts into it , i was being grateful but it wasn't for myself. i was grateful just because i had to and i was told to. i was grateful to my parents (i am still ofc), i was grateful to my friends for giving me time (then they betrayed me) , i was grateful to everyone but myself. i was never grateful to me for my achievements or good deeds. all this time i assumed i was grateful but i wasn't sure about it tho. and one thing i'd like to tell everyone is being grateful to yourself is the most important before being grateful for someone else. now i just took out a journal , i was thinking of making it a journal for decorative purpose but ig i will just get a gratitude journal. : D . thank you very much and i am truly grateful to you for uploading this video and grateful to myself for watching it.

Hated my looks, country, social skills, etc. After reading stuff like stoicism, buddhism and some other stuff, I just realized thats all pointless. Hi. I used to have migraines like yours when I was a kid. My parents had me checked by an orthodontist and found out that my migraine was caused by TMJ. I was fitted with a retainer in my mouth and after a year the joints of my jaws aligned and my migraine went away for good. I hope you find out the cause of your migraine and resolve it.

I love that you try so hard to help people. You are wise beyond your years. Great video, I think you have cluster headaches. My husband suffered from those. Breathing pure oxygen will get rid of them. Keep moving forward ( :

Last year was the worst year of my life. This year also has had its hardships already, but I'm just lucky to still be here. I've reevaluated my relationships, set goals and concrete steps to reach them and 90 % of the time, I follow through. And when I don't, I don't scold myself. Going through stuff sucks. Having gone through it, is a gift.

Ironically This has made her better person than most at her young age, able to see the deepest parts of the human soul. She turned a huge negative health issue into a noble prize behavior. Have to give her credit where it's due because she could have just laid there & wasted away

It feels weird to be receiving life advice from someone who's almost half my age...but I'm glad that I sat through your video to the end. Thank you for sharing your experiences and teachings. You have no idea how many people at all stages of life have gained strength from your content.

This is exactly the video I needed 😭 I graduated near top of my class coming out of high school and now, I have never felt so unmotivated and tired being in university. Part of this is because I recently got diagnosed with a disorder affecting my wrists which basically had me learning how to study all over again. I will work hard because I deserve a good, balanced life. I am rooting for anyone who is in need of a comeback. This year is our year!!

Thank you so much for this vid! I saw your videos before too but this one hit home. I struggled through high school with health issues too, mainly acid reflux and a hiatal hernia. It made studying so hard. I felt so bad seeing other people study and solve problems and me lying in bed all day with my medicines. I have my entrances in a few months, keeping the idea of having a rock and having a visual space to view your strengths keeps me going. Once again, thanks for this video Amy, keep up the good work of inspiring other people!

You are my inspiration to start a KZbin channel! I especially love how you use your culture to explain concepts and express your views. Taylor being your inspo also made me realise how much of an idol she is to me, like people called her snake, but she took up that identity, made it iconic and now is benefitting from it, she's building a castle with the bricks they throw at her. OMG! You can find inspiration from literally anyone. Thank you so much! Wish you do your best always!

I needed this almost too much, it’ honestly concerning 😅 Thankyou soo much. I used to be really good in studies and most things i did and used to look forward to the hard parts in life as much as for the easy ones, i guess i lost that mindset and lost hope in achieving anything after a few life events, but your videos are helping me get that back little by little. I am so so sooo grateful for that, please keep the videos coming. Love u girll

Oh my sweet baby Jesus, this is the first time I'm on your channel and girl you made me hit that subscribe button within the first 5 min!! Your words regarding you health have inspired me so much and I've left with such a huge life lesson: "we will never know when our time will be stolen from us", I was able to relate to it cause I too have been struggling with my health the past year, and migraines too, but not the extent of yours, I'm so proud of you to pull through because I didn't even have it as bad as you did, but I know that it feels like hell with that pounding pain in your head. It just left me to think how much of life I've spent wasting time and waiting for a miracle to happen; thanks for telling me I AM a miracle (your sperm fact lol). I loved your yin-yang philosophy and how it ties into transformation, hence manifestation, and how one without the other is stagnant process. Thanks for letting me walk away with such valuable information, love you!!
