I could say "Study videos are the best and you should spend all your time watching them" which would benefit me, but I keep it real because I care so much about you. My goal is to help you maximize your success in school and beyond with the most effective, efficient methods, so I hope you know I speak with love 🧡 You're a real one if you stayed to watch the twist at the end where I explain when study videos ARE helpful! 🔥 Edit: Btw, for those who still think this is a "study video," think deep more deeply to understand the point of this video. It's really life advice that can apply to every single person

Genuine question: does this video work when I only have ten days until my finals ? I am a student in Egypt and our curriculums are pretty hard to say the least so I feel pressured and when I feel pressured I just stop and do nothing With the exams coming up and having a lot of stuff undone I feel like I am the only one suffering plus what also adds to the pressure is that I am one of the top 10 students in my grade so the need to study is always in the back of my mind but my body says only more five minutes on Instagram won't hurt , the five minutes turn into a whole day So the question is according to something you said in another video : Can the need of maintaining that image be a temporary why to my need of studying or it will just fade away?

Yo Amy, just wanna say, I really appreciate that you mention in your videos that you’re “not a genius”. I’ve always struggled in school, and I’d honestly get intimidated by those “naturally smart” kids who were always effortlessly getting straight A’s while I was always struggling to just just keep my C’s. Real talk it messed with my head so much in high school that I barely graduated. You’re probably one of the most genuine “learning coaches” I’ve seen cause you’re straightforward and empathize hard work over anything, which is something a normal (not genius) dude like me can understand. I’m currently in college for nursing rn, and I’m slowly gaining confidence with academics. It’s still not easy, but it’s people like you and videos like this that keep me going (and slightly less intimidated by the “naturally smart people”). Keep up the good work, you’re definitely helping a lot of us out here! 🙏🏼
@wamyy57 ай бұрын
Hi Matt, I really appreciate you sharing this comment. I relate to your struggle because I always felt this sense of uneasiness when people would say "you're so smart" or "you're so lucky" when really, the biggest thing I did was simply grind really hard. I suppose working hard makes us smarter and more efficient over time, but no, it's not easy or natural, and I think this is a really important message for students to not give up when it's difficult. It's amazing how you've come so far and continue to grow! I'm wishing you the best on your nursing journey. You will be fantastic. Feel free to let me know if there's anything I can be doing better to help you and the A-Team more! 🔥

hey Amy, I watched this video the day it came out, and I'm back to say how listening to this subliminal every day for almost a month literally REWIRED MY BRAIN. your words made me realize how I have to step up for myself and be my OWN COACH in order to find out what works for me. through trial and error, I've discovered the gaps in my knowledge that have helped me tremendously in leveling up over the summer. as eighth grade starts in two weeks, I'm going to listen to this again to remind myself that I shouldn't need someone else to hold my hand via youtube, and I'm just as knowledgeable as others who give such tips, if not better. congrats on closing in on 400K! you're almost there ❤🔥

I'm really thankful that you mentioned my problem and gave a really realistic solution. The part in which you described how affirmation works and how negative self talk affects our mind, not only negative self talk but we should cut off negative people who remind us of our past self whenever we try to improve. wAmy you literally have no idea girl you are saving lives. Amy’s right about that making positive decisions when you are young will have the greatest impact in your life since most of it is ahead of you at this time. I bet I am not alone here, but I am not very far from being 50 years old and after much of my life being pretty bad due to so much abuse, feeling hopeless and trapped, I finally made my escape and am beginning my college life now. What I want to say for people who are in my shoes is that while we can’t get those years back, we can still do exactly what Amy is saying that young people should do and that effort and hard work will make the rest of our lives so much better! I love these videos because as an older student it’s harder to have the physical energy to get through, but learning how to work smarter makes a really big difference. I really appreciate the advice, encouragement and inspiration these videos bring!

Hi!!! I’m in a tough position right now because I am in a unique position, I’m an IB student in my last year but because of X reasons I will have to divide 3 of my courses for this year and the 3 others for May 2025. I’m really struggling and so stressed right now, but I don’t seem to get myself together and partly it’s because, as you’ve said, I’ve been avoiding actually taking action as I have subconsciously decided there is no way I can get the grades I desire. Yesterday your video of how to increase your attention span popped up on my KZbin and I’m really glad it did, some of the tips I already knew and others were new, but I decided I really want to try them. Today I watched this video and it makes so much sense because it’s actually something most of us students know but don’t know how to stop it! Your direct words were what I actually needed, haha. I’ll try to stop having a negative mindset and just ignoring my own problems. Also, it’s so real the couching yourself, but the way you used examples and comparisons helped me understand better how to do it, so I really appreciate it, I have a three weeks vacations in which I have to study for my exams so I’ll give you an update at the end of them!!

1. Your taking a cop out. You are trying to escape the work and the thinking. Insted of watching youtube videos think for yourself, think from an outside perspective. You already know what to do, so just do it 2. You need to learn by doing 3. Scientifically proven means very little. You have to take an active role while studying 4. You are not even studying or starting. Insted of thinking negatively start thinking positively l. Eg i am behind all the lectures, change it into i want to get ahead 5. Affirmations, add an action to the Affirmations. 6. Everything can be used to your advantage even if you failed a test think how you can improve. 7. Be your own coach Ask your self why and how 8 make the decision in a split second. 9. Stop self sabotaging 10. Freedom is not free 11. Have maturity Treat your time as gold 12. Time is a great equalizer 13. Balance your ying yang. Ask yourself what your mindset and the actions will get you 14. Watch study videos after you have used your whole coaching ability. Make sure the study youtuber your watching is actually credible

hii amy! I appreciate you posting these videos to help people with their studies and life goals. Watching your videos keeps me motivated to stay low and study well. In my elementary life years ago i hardly cared about it all I did was read before the exams/quizzes and basically that was my review routine, at the end of the school year i was lucky enough to graduate ( like graduating being done in elementary and going on with high school) and right now I'm redeeming myself to study well, focus. And yes it is hard to stay focused while studying but you know you have to keep trying until you are there, and know that all that hard work will pay off. :)

Couldn't agree more. Sometimes, I honestly feel like I watch study videos as a validation for what I already know to do. I think this is similar to that overflowing cup of water analogy - you have too many ideas for how to tackle a problem in your arsenal, but then you never use any of it. The issue most of the time is that I just don't do it enough or with enough time (I. E. procrastinate). It's just like with screen time too, like, I know how to do it - it's literally just that initial barrier of starting to stop doom scrolling. EDIT: Also, this vid just popped up in my reccs and I somehow didn't know I was subbed. So, I've conscientiously subscribed today ❤😂 really enjoyed the topic of this video and the issue(s) it addressed.

@elpollolocoman1197 ай бұрын
The time analogy was good. 10 hrs of school most of the time or 5? 1 hr. of good exercise or 1hr. of video games? Good routines, just adds more wood to the flame, and the flame is hungry. It wont stop eating. Guess what the fun part is ^^ it wont stop growing when fed correctly, and practice makes perfect. Zen meditation and yoga really help. I would give one more, be aware of surroundings, it would help applying what we learn in math science or language in practical life.

I remembered myself 2 days ago with my results of an exam not seeing them as something in which I was falling down in but as an example to set for me and know I had the potential and will to make myself better even my teachers supported me but then when I came back home my friend just told me that I would not be able to study properly it really tore me and my mind which had gotten a right path was breaking down. Today I came to KZbin for help once again but this is a tip I will never forget to always think positive forget the negative that is being pumped into my mind and focus on my work, then I ask myself what should I study? I come back here and waste my time. Thank you for making me realize the immense waste of time I was doing now I feel prepared to do it all

Seriously, you are a huge inspiration for me, and why your videos are so unique and different from other KZbinr’s videos is because you are telling us that you don’t like and don’t feel like studying at all, meanwhile other KZbinrs are acting like studying is sooooooo fun and easier for them cause they are using these or those techniques and etc, and when you have a mindset of a lazy student and watch how enthusiastically they are talking about studying, it’s so annoying, really. but I found your channel yesterday and you’re helping me a lot, really, it’s so hard to imagine to be perfect in the field you hate, but you made it imaginable (is this even a word? 😂I hope so) so, I wanted to have an academic comeback, and you are really good companion for me, and yeah, I’m gonna become a star student, cause if you could do that though you didn’t like and comfortable w studying at all, then why can’t I?

@@lilbunny.03 omggg congrats!!! Do u have any life advice or anything I should look out for in my secondary school and JC years?
@lilbunny.037 ай бұрын
@@jane_edits13. Actually from my experience, I would like to say avoid these 2 things before getting in uni - 1. Too much screen time 2. Dating These two things broke me. If I was aware beforehand, this year would be the year I'm already in my dream uni. Dating in first year of Hi-school was the dumbest thing I did. And later, I got too addicted to phone. So I failed in my finals. It took me 6 months to come back on my track.
@jane_edits13.7 ай бұрын
@@lilbunny.03 okay, noted. Thanks so much for the advice! I do agree with number 1 as it cost me my poor grades in my triple pure science grade. As for number 2, I never experienced with it and Im glad I havent as I do discipline myself regarding that bit lollll. Anyways, Im happy for you tat you eventually overcame those!

I am sleeping like 5-6 hours for 8-9 years On sundays I sleep 8 hours 🧐
@verbed90537 ай бұрын
@@somni4867 it’s not true, there’s actually no study that yields these results. There’s a study that shows women on average need 20 minutes more of sleep than men, but that’s based on a variety of factors (women use their brain more, more likely to have insomnia/disrupted sleep cycles etc.) so it’s not something you should worry about. Just focus on getting at least 8 hours,

As a newly college graduate who procrastinated a lot by watching study videos, everything you said are so right and I wish I had this eye opening video years earlier. Specially the part about imagining yourself doing the tips in the videos already feeling like a reward so there's no real motivation to do the actual work. Spot on!!

Sometimes I get into these moods for extended periods of time where I can't just do anything, and I never feel good about it. No matter how horrible it makes me feel I just can never do it or anything. I always feel tired. Often I tell myself to just get some sleep, but I feel like sleeping would just make it worse. Soon my sleep schedule would start getting all messy. I'm always tired and groggy. Sometimes I just need a boost of energy and motivation. And after a while these motivation videos lose their effect. I was feeling myself getting into one of these moods again, but this video helped. And it definitely helped me better than the other motivation videos (no offence to those creators of course). Thank you
