@itsjaynguyen8 жыл бұрын
+Coffee Break Hero do more research. You need a 1000$ machine to have comparable espresso to a shop. The shop machines are 10000+ dollars Anything sub 600$ doesn't have a boiler or a decent pump
@coffeebreakhero37438 жыл бұрын
Jay Nguyen delonghi dedica 300$ (no commercial intended there are other good ones). I bet you 1000$ if i make you an espresso from that machine and another from 10k$ machine you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. as for frothing milk, the cheaper machines require much more learning to get it right without much air, but it can be done. when people are able and want to spend money, they'll find out how: e.g. beats headphones//iphones

I've just been directed here and I love this video - definitely going to try it! For those who moan about not having a coffee machine at home - you don't need one to make a good coffee. The best coffee anyway (though professional barista might not agree) is made in moka pot - it's cheap, you put it on your stove and the smell is amazing!

I don't know why you all are so mad and confused about how this could be done at home: hes showing you that he boils the milk in a pot , shows you the temperature, and then used a French press to froath it so all you need is to have a French press at home. If you don't have an espresso machine you can buy instant

Do they get tiny “microbubbles/foam?” At what temperature do you stop cooking the milk? Can I use a Nespresso machine for the coffee or does it have to be a manual one? Sorry for all the questions :) , Best regards from Sweden

Aziz Izgin Eaaahhh Rayos! So many questions! 😂 I am not a Pro at no means talking about coffee, but this stuff really makes the foamy effect nicely, I can’t be so exact about temperature and the size of bubbles 😜 but I just put the a cup of milk for 2 minutes in the microwave, sometimes it explotes 😂 so it’s gotta be really hot 😂 and then just use the tool and my cappuccino gets neat 🥰 I use 2 % fat milk, I am sure with whole milk gets even more bubbly ☺️👍

I've seen several videos right here on youtube that don't require a machine. One indicates that you heat the milk on the stove till bubbles form around the edges...not until it comes to a bowl...remove the pan from the stove and use an electric mixer to blend a fluff the milk before adding to your cup of coffee. Other videos show how to make your own flavored coffee creamers.

Do they get tiny “microbubbles/foam?” At what temperature do you stop cooking the milk 65 degrees C? Can I use a Nespresso machine for the coffee or does it have to be a manual one? Sorry for all the questions :) , Best regards from Sweden
@dritanalsela5 жыл бұрын
Hey Aziz, happy about your questions :) Yes, you get the best microfoam that way, taste is the same. Nice, silky texture. Heat up the milk to 65°C. And yes, you can use any device to make your coffee - that's up to your taste preference :)
@AzizIzgin5 жыл бұрын
Dritan Alsela thanks for your quick answer ! I managed to get the micro foam quite good... but somehow I don’t get the natural sweetness from the milk as it normally does at good cafeterias .... it tastes more like “ coffee and milk” and not them together in symbiosis.... What affects this? Do you have tutorial maybe? Maybe I froth it too much? I understand I your unable to explain via text since I have like 100 questions:) I use 3% fat (milk) that is standard milk in Sweden
@dritanalsela5 жыл бұрын
Hi Aziz, sorry for the late reply! Happy to hear the frothing is working for you. Did you try 3.5% fat milk? If you texture not higher than 65°C it shoudn't be loosing its sweetness actually?! And the symbiosis you're talking about has to do with the froth and temperature indeed. You need to pour in that rich, frothy milk in a way that you really blend the coffee an milk nicely. Has to do with pace and angle. Hold your cup in a slighly stew angle and really mix it under the coffee. I honestly don't know how to better explain it in works haha.. let me see if I can maybe make a video on that one day :) Just keep the questions coming though ;-)
@AzizIzgin5 жыл бұрын
Dritan Alsela you are the best👌🏻. Many thanks. I think you explain very good. Of course it is not as easy at showing how it is done:) I use 3% fat and heat it up to maximum 65 degrees C. I will try to blend better. I have now even invested in a Gaggia Classic and will soon buy a Eureka Mignon Specialita grinder. I replaced the wand to a Rancilio wand for better steam. I will try to learn to texture the milk that way too. Also bought a creatista plus from Neapresso with automatic milk frothing, for the days I am too lazy 😎 Have a great day maestro and thanks for sharing your wisdom with me👍🏻

It's supposed to teach how to make a great crema without the steam wand in an espresso machine, heat the milk to 60-65ºC, dump it in a frech press and do that motion to get the microfoam, then drop it to the jar and make te capucchino. And if you don't have an espresso machine you could use pod coffe or moka coffee, it works too, he has a video showing this but using a moka pot instead.

Aber dennoch: THUMBS UP!!! -- Would be great if you tell us some informations about what you’re doing. So the Videos are nearly similar, milk is put into espresso. E.g. some infos about what kind of milk you are using, what kind of coffee, the machines… General infos about coffee. But still THUMBS UP!!!

+Sinan Muslu the machine and coffee and actual pulling of the espresso do not matter so much in this video. It is more about the heating of the milk to between 60 and 70 degrees C and using the french press to froth it.

+Jerry McCarthy you're right, in this case completeley correct. i like what dritan does, but nevertheless, it would be nicer if he would tell us some words. social media is all about CONTENT :)

What's the purpose of tapping the bench with the jug when the milk is inside? I see it all the time.
@rivolinho7 жыл бұрын
Ross Carrick Plunging the milk in the press creates a lot of bubbles, which don't make for nice smooth textured milk needed for latte art. Tapping and swirling the milk gets out as much bubbles as possible.
@duonganhtung927 жыл бұрын
Ross Carrick tapping the jugg also make sound that can tell the ratio of foam and milk inside the jug
@ginabizzle7 жыл бұрын
Ross Carrick yes it makes it a smooth texture rather than all uneven bubbles
