●INGREDIENTS:
serves 2-3:
1 whole chicken (1.3-1.5 kg)
Marinade:
2 teaspoons salt (15 g)
¼ tsp pepper
3 teaspoons paprika
1 heaped tsp garlic powder
3 tsp brown sugar (or white)
40 ml sunflower oil
Vegetables:
1.5 kg potatoes, waxy
3 onions (300 g)
3 carrots (200 g)
1 teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon pepper
2 tbsp sunflower oil
200 degrees circulating air or 220 degrees U/L heat: 10 min.
Then reduce the heat to 180 degrees circulating air or 200 degrees U/L heat: 15 min
Distribute the vegetables around the chicken: put in the oven for another 30-35 minutes. During this time, turn the vegetables 1-2 times. When the chicken is ready after a total of about 1 hour, it has a crispy skin, a nice, strong color and a core temperature of 80-85 degrees (insert a thermometer into the breast as the meat is thickest here). At this temperature it is cooked through, but not dry. Important: if you have a large, heavy chicken, the oven time will be extended by 5-10 minutes.
