This is exactly what I'm looking for (though I'm going to zoom in through a mobile phone in the subject's hand and into some footage from ten years earlier). Looking forward to giving it a try!

Your tutorials have been simply outstanding AF. The tips are easy to follow along with, and they really improve one’s editing game. Sometimes it takes a few times to catch on to something, but that’s my bad not your instruction. My brain has been lightly scrabbled after four craniotomy’s and countless rounds of chemo/radiation over the past twelve years-and am starting another cycle soon. I’ve used PowerDirector for a couple of years now and am glad to have found your channel. My goal is start taking other survivors on overnight camping trips. I just realized how much of chatty Kathy I’m being, so I’ll cut my string. As a Star Wars nerd, is there a way to do light sabers or laser blasts?

Thanks for watching my tutorials. Best of luck and sending prayers to you for your treatments. You can make lightsabers. Please fill out my tutorial request form to add it to my list.

Hi Maliek. I am new to editing video. I have Pinnacle 25 and have been watching a lot of your tutorials. So far, yours are the best I have found. Thank you. I want to understand better about timeliness frame rate and why you use a different frame rate on the timeliness than the original clip. I have several questions about this. Does this affect the quality of the exported video? Does this affect the rendering speed in Pinnacle? Can you change the timeliness faster rate for only certain clips on the timeliness if you want to do slo-mo or speed up only one clip? Could you direct me to a good tutorial for this? Again, your tutorials are all excellent. Very helpful.
@PDU_Tutorials2 жыл бұрын
Thanks. I don’t use Pinnacle anymore so I can’t really give you any insight into that program and how it responds to using different frame rates, etc. You would probably be best off asking on the P{in able Studio forum. Good luck to you and thanks for watching my content.

Love your tutorials, I have my own channel, I am wanting to create 25 to 30 sec entro that I can add to all my shows. I would like it to be action flashing in and out of some of the epic fish I have caught. what is the best way? I have been to the Project Room but none of those seem to fit what I want. Thanks for the good content.
@PDU_Tutorials2 жыл бұрын
The best way is to create your own using effects and/or blending modes. Each intro is unique so hard to say what exactly you should do or use.

cool vid! thanks! question...is there a way you can hook up a keyboard(digital piano) into PD and record what you're playing in the voice over room to a song that's already been sung and recorded? in other words, you need to be able to hear the singing but you just want to record the keyboard. I have looked everywhere and can't find any info....appreciate your help!
@PDU_Tutorials2 жыл бұрын
If you connect the keyboard through a Digital Audio Interface and use your PC to change the default microphone to the Digital Audio Interface it might be possible

On a serious note, and away from this subject, I've recently had the hard-drive on my new computer amended to remove a partition, this giving me the full 500(512, actually) gigabytes of capacity for my software. However I've noticed strange behaviour from the "My 3D Title" in the Titles facility. If I twist or turn the title(before editing to have my actual title) on its axis, horizontal, vertical or rotate clockwise or counter-clockwise, the effect "strobes"(for want of a better description). It's hard to explain properly the effect I get, but if I rotate clockwise or counter-clockwise, I get a trace of the title as it turns. Again it's hard to explain without actually showing you short of sending a still image to your email address. I wonder how I can correct this anomaly, as It affects my PD14 Ultra in the same way(I've installed PD14 Ultra along with PD20 Ultimate on this new computer). I think it's a holdover from when the hard-drive was still partitioned.
@PDU_Tutorials2 жыл бұрын
Wow. I wouldn't even know where to start. Seeing as this might be tied to the removal of the partition and I am by no means a computer guru I'd have to say that you might want to ask CyberLink support if maybe try asking on a PC forum? Sorry I couldn't help.
@neilforbes4162 жыл бұрын
@@PDU_Tutorials Pretty hard to ask on the forum since I was chucked off the Director Zone forum for *speaking truth to power.* They were so thin-skinned and didn't like what I had to say.

yo, I've been using PowerDirector premium for a few years and recently the apps been breaking. It won't render anything, it freezes during editing alot, it randomly closes the app, it's just very buggy. Most of these are rare but the biggest issue I have rn is the video not rendering/downloading/saving. It'll reach maybe 43%, then just close out and go back the project. Anyone know how to fix this?
@PDU_Tutorials2 жыл бұрын
Lots of issues. Usually when those things all happen at once it is due to the PC or drivers.You should ask on the PowerDirector forum. There you can share a dxdiag file with your PC specs.
