The tea pots and tea glasses are so beautiful! 🤩 I suspect the pink/red colored cookies are filled with a marmelade that you made with some red fruits that you got in Kastamonu? 🍒 No idea what the filling is in other cookie though, even though Zeynep was eating it and the inside was somewhat visible. Pistachio maybe? 🙈

I drank it when I was in Turkey and I would like to recreate its taste but in stores there are only powders with lots of artificial ingredients. Thank you sister I was always curious how the tea was made with the double pot. When we visited Turkey in 2008 we fell in love with Turkish tea especially the color and clarity of it. I just want to let you know I made your recipe for ottoman sherbet that’s you shared it was absolutely delicious and I will make a lot of it in upcoming fall.... makes good fall drink

In southern part of India like kerala, tamilnadu, karnataka, we call it "filter tea" and "filter coffee",,, famous in hotels,, dey make it in very large pots of around 6 to 7 litres,,, Im from Bangalore,,😊

I want a Turkish teapot! Other than water, all I drink is tea so I have been wanting to try Turkish tea. Making tea looks so beautiful when you do it! I think the cookies have either the rose marmalade or cooked pears you got from the farmer in your father’s village. My grandpa grew pears and we used them for pear pie. It was delicious! I really enjoy your videos so much!

Unlike Asian teas, Turkish teas should be brewed for at least 15 minutes, after the long brewing you need to balance the bitter tea with hot water. If you want a less bitter tea, you can add the boiling water first than the tea leaves

I love Turkish tea and the tradition of serving a new glass/bardak as soon as the first is coming to an end. I also like your caylikdan/teapot. Can you tell me the name of a good place where you can get a variety of teapots in different colors in Istanbul. Next time I am there I want to buy one. I have one, but I like the one I see in your video ( enamelled) more. Thank you so much for sharing these two ways of making tea.

Thanks for the ice tea idea. I had made too much tea and simply poured it through a sieve into another pot and filled it up with water. I didn't make iced tea out of it though. Just drank the cooled tea during the day.
