I assume you turned the heat down to low after it comes to a boil and simmer 12-15 min?
@CinnamonStoveKitchen3 жыл бұрын
Yes... Thanks Lisa, I'll put that in the directions to clarify♥️ Turn the heat down to low-medium and allow the rice to steam cook. Cheryl

Thank you. I thought that you're not suppose to wash rice, because the vitamins & nutrients will leave. I looked it up on Google & I put two answers in & the second one is about arsenic. The first one says: Does rinsing rice remove nutrients? Keep in mind that rinsing rice may reduce the levels of folate, iron, niacin and thiamin, by 50 to 70 percent, according to the Food and Drug Administration, and that the largest risk for arsenic exposure from rice is for those who eat it several times a day. Jun 13, 2018 The second one is about ARSENIC. Does soaking rice remove arsenic? We carried out some tests with Prof Meharg and found the best technique is to soak the rice overnight before cooking it in a 5:1 water-to-rice ratio. That cuts arsenic levels by 80%, compared to the common approach of using two parts water to one part rice and letting all the water soak in. Feb 10, 2017

Too much water, you can always add less water and allow it to steam cook low and slow.
