Thank You!!!! Absolutely Loved this tutorial!! Beautiful!! I've been looking forward to making jewelry for 50 yrs! Finally going to try my hand at it! A dream come true! Now I just need the essentials as I've been collecting "Pretties" for years but still need the wire and tools. After watching a million videos I think I know what I need.. now it's just a matter of slowly getting it all. Can't Wait!! I'm kind of in a hurry now.. But I'm one Determined G'ma!! It'll take awhile longer but I'll get there! Thanks again! Many Blessings and Big Hugs!

Thank you Potomac Bead Company!!! I had so much extra wire and I wanted to learn how to make my beads look finished without the extra expense. Now, I want to run out and get more wire! Thank you again. - Tyronda -

I love how you explained with great detail and moved and spoke at a medium pace. I was able to understand everything and I liked that you added special detail to your conversation and detail on your bracelet. I enjoyed it. Thank you. Keep up the great work. * Grace * Pasadena, TX

That's really cool. I am going to try that later today with some beads I have and some wire. I probably won't make them into anything but I want to practice this. In the middle of another craft right now and since I have a problem with starting things I seldom finish I have to fight to stay focused. ;) LOL - Heidi

This is beautiful, thank you for this lovely and sorta elegant idea. I want to use this for my beaded eyeglass chain. I'm a bit scared it might get caught in my hair but i usually wear my long hair up when wearing eyeglass chains. Again, thank you and I will subscribe and upvote this video.

Thanks for the tutorial. I would love to see a similar tutorial using a better technique. I have it in a book but it will be awesome if it was in a video. Instead of a single loop that connects each piece it would be nice if it had a double loop connecting each piece
@Potomacbeadco

Hi Ingrid, you can certainly do it with double loops if you wish.

What a great video. I'm a fan of wire wrapping. I just started. I looks so beautiful. Ty from Holland. I guess you don't recommend 24 ga I assume.
@Potomacbeadco

24ga would be too soft so the wraps would be able to move out of shape.

You could use your nylon pliers to press down the wire onto the bead (this helps me as I tend to lose strength in my hands). That way you can make sure the wire is flat and there are no sharp edges and you won't mare the wire or bead. Oh, and thanks for sharing!

I like the hook you did at end, but are you afraid that the hook will come off on its own and lose your bracelet?

how do you stop the wire from tarnishing or rubbing off on clothing
@Potomacbeadco
@Potomacbeadco 10 жыл бұрын
It depends upon the type of wire that you are using. Some wire will tarnish, others will not. You can always clean it regularly (if it is silver or copper), or coat it with a clear coating like nail polish if you don't want it to tarnish at all.
